Description | Plate 7 showing figures of male and female narwhal skulls with jaw and tusk details. The illustration was printed in portrait format, but this original was designed in landscape format, with figure and scale inscriptions positioned accordingly. The work is inscribed above [portrait] with publication and plate details. An original inscription has been erased lower right [landscape]. Not signed, Royal Society stamp verso.
