Description | Plate 5, figures 1-15 showing blood corpuscles and coagula from various animals, including a human, a sparrow [Fringilla domestica; Passer domesticus; house sparrow], a chick [Phasianus gallus; chicken], a turtle, a frog [Rana temporaria], a newt [Lissotriton punctatus; Lissotriton vulgaris; smooth newt], a toad [Rana bufo; Bufo bufo], a skate [Raia batis], a cod [Gadus morrhua; Atlantic cod], a lobster [Cancer marinus; Homarus gammarus], and an oyster [Ostrea edulis; European flat oyster]. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Figure numbers originally drawn in black ink; struck out and rewritten with the same numbers in red ink. Figures drawn separately and mounted onto backing sheet. Not signed.
