Description | Plate 43, figures 1-5 showing transverse sections of teeth and dentinal systems from the Tamias lysteri [Tamias striatus; eastern chipmunk], the Orycteropus [Orycteropus afer; aardvark], the Labyrinthodon jaegeri [Mastodonsaurus giganteus], and the Lepus timidus [mountain hare], as well as the Haversian system of a stag's antler. There appear to be faint dates written in pencil next to each figure, all from January 1850. Inscribed with figure, publication, and plate details. Not signed.
