- oars that have the same effect as geese feet to row without bringing them out of the water
- method of setting artifical teeth
- plates with hinges to fix to the chimney to stop winds and allow smoke to go out
- a fixed cape to attach to a chimney
- a mehtod to point a canon without moving the carriage
- a way to stop horses which hold the bit between their teeth
- candlestick with a spring which allows the candle to ascend gradually
