Title | Letter from Jagadis Chunder Bose, on his paper 'Electro-molecular wave' to Joseph Larmor |
Date | 12 April 1902 |
Description | Sectional committee: not stated
He has returned to England following a short absence and acknowledges the letter of the 24th March. The record of results in his paper are all new. One of the methods was used in connection with another subject 'On the Similarities between mechanical and Radiation strains', which was communicated to the Royal Society more than a year ago, and which he was informed will shortly be published in the Proceedings. A preliminary notice 'An Electric Response of Inorganic Substances' was also communicated to the Society on 7th May 1901 and not published. This contained some account of the method, which was then not fully worked out.
