Title | Referee's report by Henry Edward Armstrong, on a paper 'A chemical study of the phosphoric acid and potash content of the wheat soil of Broadbalk Field Rothamsted' by Bernard Dyer |
Date | 29 November 1900 |
Description | Sectional committee: Physics and chemistry
Recommended for publication in full. It would be desirable to give a footnote with an account of the precise method adopted in extracting the soil and making the analysis. The paper is a very valuable contribution on a most important subject. It is long and somewhat diffuse in style but the subject seems naturally to involve diffuse treatment. The paper could be improved in style by careful editing and thinks it worth considerable attention from this point of view.
