The paper should be printed in a journal with a comprehensive index of compounds, such as the Journal of the Chemical Society. If the authors conducted a much wider review and discussion of the literature, it might be more suited for the Royal Society. The Royal Society journals are not the right place for 'snippets of organic chemistry'.
