TitleReferee's report by Sydney Chapman, on a paper 'On the temperature of the surface waters of the Irish sea' by Joseph Proudman, H Mabel Lewis and A Leslie Dennis
Date16 December 1936
DescriptionSectional committee: Physics

Recommended for publication. The paper is 'thorough and well-documented' and the results are of great value. He is unsure if The Royal Society is the best organisation to publish such a paper. If shortened, the paper would be of more general interest. However, it isn't extensive and there 'would be no harm' in its printing by the Royal Society.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions A, 1936].
