Title | Referee's report by Charles Galton Darwin, on a paper 'Stationary electron swarms in electromagnetic fields' by Dennis Gabor |
Date | [1944] |
Description | Sectional Committee: Physics
Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Was asked to take over referee duties from Ralph Howard Fowler, due to illness. Cannot find anything obviously wrong with the paper. Suggests Douglad Rayner Hartree be sought for a responsible opinion if necessary, but does not think this is so.
Contains extra question - 'Is there any information contained in the paper which likely to be of value to the enemy?' Referee replies no.
