|Title||Referee's report by William Edward Garner, on a paper 'Hot spots on rubbing surfaces and the detonation of explosives by friction' by Frank Philip Bowden, M A Stone and G K Tudor|
|Description||Sectional committee: Chemistry|
Recommended for publication in Proceedings. It is an excellent piece of work and the explanations given are reasonable. The author sometimes goes into too much detail when explaining things and he should just let the tables speak for themselves. It is of general interest.
