Title | Second letter from George John Romanes, to George Gabriel Stokes, regarding a paper 'Further observations on the locomotor system of medusae' by George John Romanes |
Date | 7 May 1877 |
Description | Appreciates the courteous nature of the Committee in not offering suggestions for omissions. Could omit some portions of the paper and carry them over to next year, when they might form part of another paper, but is unsure if this would be desirable. Some of the figures should be printed at life-size if possible. Asks that it be explained to Thomas Henry Huxley, that if the purpose of the illustrations does not justify the expense, is happy to contribute funds for their publication at life-size.
