TitleReferee's report by the Mathematical Committee, on a paper 'On the geometrical treatment of the 'normal curve' of statistics, with especial reference to correlation and to the theory of error' by W F Sheppard
Date1897
DescriptionKarl Pearson's report should be sent to the author but the Committee believe that he is 'hardly disposed to allow the author that amount of latitude in the treatment of his subject which is desirable'. They don't believe the remarks on pages 56-8 to be controversial so will not make the author aware of this criticism.
