TitleReferee's report by Andrew Gray, on a paper 'The velocity of the ions produced in gases by rontgen rays' by John Zeleny
DateApril 1900
DescriptionSectional committee: Physics and chemistry.

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions, in full. The illustration of the apparatus should be reproduced. The Committee might consider whether some of the curves showing ionic velocities might not be omitted. The results are fully given in tables and the nature of the graphs in several cases could be indicated in words, without much loss of clarity. The paper seems most interesting. The ionic velocities are determined by a new and ingenious methods and the results form a valuable addition to knowledge on this subject.
