TitleReferee's report by John Perry, on a paper 'The elastic equilibrium of circular cylinders under certain practical systems of load' by Louis Napoleon George Filon
DateJune 1901
DescriptionSectional committee: Physics and chemistry

Recommended for publication in 'Philosophical Transactions and all the illustrations should be reproduced. It is exceedingly important that everything should be published. He cannot find time to check the mathematical work. Such work is probably checked at every step by the author and Perry has no reason to disagree with it or the result. The author disproves an assertion of his and he is glad to have the matter settled. He has himself tried in vain to settle the matter himself but could not find enough time.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions A, 1902].
