TitleReferee's report by Percy Faraday Frankland, on a paper 'Cyanogenesis in plants. Part II. The great millet, sorghum vulgare' by Wyndham Rowland Dunstan and Thomas A Henry
Date7 July 1902
DescriptionSectional Committee: Botany

The paper does not appear suitable for Philosophical Transactions, but in as much as this is a sequel to a paper of very similar character which has already appeared in the Transactions, it may be inconvenient to publish it elsewhere. Thinks the paper should be printed in full either in the Transactions or Proceedings. The published abstract has little value excepting for the purposes of procuring priority for the authors. Does not recommend any modification and thinks the single illustration might well be reproduced though it does not appear to be very material as he presumes the botanical species is well known. The paper is of much chemical interest and forms a valuable contribution to more precise knowledge of the glucosides.
