Title | Referee's report by William Cecil Dampier Whetham, on a paper 'Theory of amphoteric electrolytes' by James Walker |
Date | 7 February 1904 |
Description | Sectional Committee: not stated.
It appears to Whetham that Walker's paper is of considerable interest and he thinks Walker's application of the dissociation theory of amphoteric electrolytes is new and the results obtained seem to be of some importance. He assumes the paper will do well for the Proceedings and assumes there is 'no question' of 'Transactions'.
Whetham received a note some weeks ago that he had been placed on the Committee for Physics and Chemistry but has not been summoned to any meetings and asks when they take place. [Annotated as summoned to meeting for 16th February].
