TitleReferee's report by George Howard Darwin, on a paper 'On the intensity & direction of the force of gravity in India' by Colonel Sidney Gerald Burrard
Date29 March 1905
DescriptionSectional Committee: not stated.

Sends the paper which he presents to the Royal Society for Philosophical Transactions.. Darwin has written to ask Burrard to send an abstract as soon as he can. The author begged him to look over the paper and to make alterations. Darwin has made a few minor corrections which seem to make matters clearer. If the Mathematical Committee chooses to make Darwin a referee he may save time and say that in his opinion it is a very important paper and should be printed in full in the 'Philosophical Transactions' and all the figures should be given.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions A, 1906].
