TitleReferee's report by Sydney Howard Vines, on a paper 'Further observations on the germination of the seeds of the castor oil plant (ricinus communis)' by Joseph Reynolds Green and Henry Bradwardine Jackson
Date30 May 1905
DescriptionSectional Committee: Botany

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. Vines has suggested some slight modifications in pencil [on the original paper] which would tend to make the paper clearer. It seems to him necessary that the production of sugar from a part of the oil should more definitely be stated in a high paragraph inserted on page 15. Unless he is mistaken the point seems to be left rather vague. There are no illustrations. No general remarks given.

Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, 1905.
