TitleCopy of a referee's report by Hugh Frank Newall, on a paper 'On the spectrum of mu centauri' by Joseph Norman Lockyer and Frank E Baxandall
DateFebruary 1905
DescriptionCopy of a section of Newall's original referee's report stating that it is a question whether the paper had better be communicated to Professor E C Pickering as it deals with details seen in a reproduction of one of his photographs and not with original photographs.

Annoted by Dyson that although the alternative of sending the paper to Pickering might be put to the authors, the paper is very short and it would hardly be necessary to press this course.
