TitleReferee's report by William Bateson, on a paper 'Experiments in hybridization; with special reference to the effect of conditions on dominance' by Leonard Doncaster
Date6 April 1903
DescriptionSectional Committee: Zoology

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. There are one or two points of detail on which Bateson would be glad to confer with Doncaster. All the illustrations should be reproduced. Thinks the paper a very careful contribution to the discussion of an important problem. It records valuable observations and experiments bearing on the phenomena described by Vernon in Philosophical Transactions. The interpretation of Vernon's results which Doncaster offers is in Bateson's opinion probable and well supported.
