TitleReferee's report by Ernest Rutherford, Baron Rutherford of Nelson, on a paper 'Note on a shield to protect the eyes against x-rays and other radiations of great intensity' by George James Burch
Date[January 1912]
DescriptionSectional Committee: Physics and Chemistry

Not recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Considers the paper is of a practical rather than theoretical nature, and would be more suited to a techical journal such as the Röntgen Society, but does not see any harm in publishing in the Proceedings. Cannot see the application of an eye shield when the rest of the body would be left exposed.
