TitleReferee's report by Arthur Smithells, on a paper 'Researches on the chemistry of coal. Part II .— The resinic constituents and coking propensities of coals' by William Arthur Bone, A R Pearson, E Sinkinson and W E Stockings
Date24 October 1921
DescriptionSectional Committee: Chemistry

Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London', but only because the Royal Society previously published a paper by William Arthur Bone and Reginald J Sarjant. The paper mostly deals with problems of an industrial nature. Suggests the Journal of the Society of Chemical Industry might be a more suitable place for publication. Considers the publication of the previous paper a 'mistake' as it commits the society to print the current paper.
