TitleReferee's report by Richard Dixon Oldham, on a paper 'The geology and physical geography of Chinese Tibet, and its relations to the mountain system of south-eastern Asia, from observations made during the Percy Sladen expedition, 1922' by John Walter Gregory and C J Gregory
Date4 February 1924
DescriptionSectional Committee: Geology

No clear statement regarding publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London', which it would probably 'swamp'. Due to lack of funds, which prevents the publication of much good work, does not think the Society would be justified in publishing the geological observations, which have been published elsewhere. Suggests resubmitting the appendices to a referee with more knowledge of the subject.
