TitleReferee's report by George Busk, on a paper 'On the anatomy and physiology of the nematoids, parasitic and free; with observations on their zoological position and affinities to the echinoderms' by Henry Charlton Bastian
Date30 October 1865
DescriptionRecommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Refers to work into this animal group by 'German observers', however the group is still little known. Refers to author's previous communications to the Linnean Society and Linnean Transactions. The current paper has been extended and meets the scope of publication by the Royal Society. Suggests the conclusions discussing the position and affinities of the nematodes could be shortened. Suggests the paper be accompanied by illustrations.
