DescriptionHas been told that in a recent communication to the Royal Society that Joseph Norman Lockyer has attributed to the author of the letter three lines, termed 'Lockyer's Lines'. Wishes to make clear to the Committee that he has no recollection of naming the lines thus. Has written to Joseph Norman Lockyer to explain this, and asks if William Sharpey can explain the matter to the Council.
