Title | Second referee's report by Ronald Percy Bell, on a paper 'The kinetics of mutarotation in solution' by E A Moelwyn-Hughes and John Cowdery Kendrew |
Date | 17 June 1940 |
Description | The author have met his objections to an extent but not completely. There should be clear documentation of the experimental evidence of deviations from the Arrhenius equation. The methods used for evaluating J should be given in the paper. The polarimeter cannot explain away variations in the final velocity constants given in the table.
