Date10 December 1942
DescriptionSectional Committee: Mathematics

First paper: Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'.

[Published in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London']

Second paper: Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Comments on table four, and the correlation with latent heats of evaporation. Suggests all references be given initials, to distinguish between the two Suttons.

[Published in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London']

For the Committee: The papers should be published together. The Sutton referred to in the second paper is not the same as the author of the first paper. Assumes the first paper will be sent to a Pure Mathematician for verification.

Contains extra question - 'Is there any information contained in the paper which likely to be of value to the enemy?' Referee replies that it might be applied to the evaporation of mustard gas.
