TitleLetter from William Ewart Gye, regarding a paper 'Mitotic activity in the adult female mouse, Mus musculus L. A study of its relation to the oestrous cycle in normal and abnormal conditions' by W S Bullough
Date6 July 1944
DescriptionSectional Committee: Physiology

The paper is so long, and has so many criticisms, that the report will not be done before the referee goes away on travel. Returns the paper so another referee can be appointed. Finds the paper too long, with unnecessary descriptions which could be inserted as references. The parts dealing with cancer require discussion and alteration. The new information ought to be published, but does not have time to extact this from the manuscript.
