Appended letter, dated 9 November 1948, from Archibald Vivian Hill. Reported on the paper in July, which was recently returned to the authors, who have discussed the paper with him. They have agreed to rewrite the paper in light of his criticisms. Encloses revised paper. The paper is much improved with nothing to criticise. Endorsed on recto as received 10 November 1948.
