DescriptionNot recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The results of the method of using the balance show great accuracy, however the results as regards determining the density of the earth is less justified. The experiments are ongoing, with further results and increased accuracy to be expected. Suggests an abstract be submitted for immediate publication in the Proceedings. Suggests keeping the paper on standby, in case the experiments are halted, in which case the whole paper can be published.
