TitleLetter from William Mitchinson Hicks, to George Gabriel Stokes, regarding a paper 'On toroidal functions' by William Mitchinson Hicks
Date21 July 1881
DescriptionIs happy to add further numerical examples for the electrical problems, but does not think this necessary for the fluid motion part. Further investigations are planned for fluid motion. Does not understand the suggestion to add drawings. However, if the manuscript can be returned, this will be attended to, or can be added to in proof. Asks for a proof by the end of September, ready for revisions to be completed before the start of term.
