The file is indexed by the names of the recipients of the letters. The letters were numbered, probably by a secretary, from 1 to 332 and are addressed to a wide range of individuals and organisations. It is not clear why Thomas Gold had this file as it contains none of his letters. However, it has been compiled in exactly the same way as the rest of the files in this series and he worked closely with Stanley F Dermott, Elizabeth Bilson, Yervant Terzian, C D Murray and Steven Soter. |
