Also contains copies of letters to various individuals and organisations from his secretary, Carvel Flood (also known as Carrie). The file is indexed by the names of the recipients of the letters. The letters were numbered by Gold or a secretary from 1 to 607 (there are no letters numbered 128, 155, 268, 280-299, 460, 489, 495, 499, 558, 565 or 590. It is not clear if they ever existed apart from a letter numbered 590 which was not sent. Letters numbered 434b-438b can be found between letters numbered 438 and 439).
