DescriptionCartoons of eminent men of the day, 18 of which are bound together in a volume including photographs and signatures of the individuals; the volume is inscribed " C S Sherrington 1927". The cartoons were published in conjunction with articles by "Jehu Junior" in Vanity Fair between 1869 and 1912. Some of the cartoons are accompanied by the text of the article. Most of the subjects were Fellows of the Royal Society.
