Letter from [William George] Armstrong, Cragside, Rothbury, to [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, 66 Victoria [Street], London, S.W Informs that Mr [Alfred] Apps has written to ask if he has any objections of him notifying Professor [John Ambrose] Flemming [sic.] of the coils he has made for him. Has communicated his objections of anything being said in relation to the experiments with them, as the results are too inconclusive to be announced to anyone. Opines it would be better to abstain from telling Apps anything about his present proceedings except the magnets of the contact breakers. 6 July 1891
