Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to James P. Houstoun [Esquire] Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter but is inclined to put the whole of the money he has to invest into 5 per cent War Loan which is quoted as about 102 1/16th. Understands there is no stamp duty payable upon this loan and in other cases the brokerage he has paid has been 1/4 per cent. In case it is any advantage to Houstoun, he will take on the above terms and is ready to do this business through him and proposed to invest £28, 000. 9 March 1928
