<dc:title>Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Sir [Robert] Forsyth Scott, M. A.</dc:title>
<dc:description>Referring to his previous letter, informs he has just had telephone communication from Sir James Devonshire, who is not very well. Devonshire has spoken to Mr. Rogers, who has suggested that it would be well, to postpone Scott’s resignation for a few months until the negotiations with the Corporation with regard to granting the new tenure are completed and agreement is settled. Comments that the resignation would at present further complicate matters.</dc:description>
