Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to [Lieutenant Colonel] Kenelm Edgcumbe Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter and informs he will be at an upcoming Athenaeum lunch and meet Edgcumbe there. Adds that he has a long talk with Sir John Reith, Managing Director of the B. B. C., who told him that the Corporation is going to publish a statement disassociating themselves from any connection with Baird's concerns. He has also shown his letter to Russell, which he sent yesterday, to Llewellyn Atkinson, who agrees. 10 July 1928
