Comments on his letter to The Times, published on 19 July 1927, where he proposed the taking up of Piccadilly in which he suggested that the paving should be made in sections, with trenches in between in which all the pipes and mains should be laid but being an electrician, rather than a structural engineer, he could only offer vague ideas. States it would be a waste of time asking him anything as he is also retired from consulting practice. 6 March 1929
