Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, The Athenaeum, Pall Mall, S. W. 1., to The Editor, The Times As one of the electrical engineers of long experience who signed the joint letter to The Times on the "Electricity Bill", maintains he strongly supports the contentions in the letter in their columns of today, signed by numerous influential engineering persons, and supported by their own article, that the proposed gigantic new generating station at Battersea is uncalled for, and is likely to be very harmful to a large portion of the west end of London. 9 April 1929
