<dc:title>Unpublished letter, regarding John Walsh's elaborations from Benjamin Gompertz to Davies Gilbert</dc:title>
<dc:description>Gompertz responds to John Walsh's elaborations on his mathematical theory (AP/10/22) following an earlier communication from Gompertz. Gompertz is still of the same opinion as in his first letter (AP/10/21) with regards to the legitimacy of Walsh's arguments. He writes that he was not aware that Walsh objected to the theory of differential calculus and the method of fluxions. Letter originally enclosed with AP/10/23.
