Unpublished letter, regarding native iron from Woodbine Parish to Sir Samuel Young Parish reports on a large fragment of native iron [telluric iron] found in the Grand Chaco [Gran Chaco] plain west of the Paraguay River, given to him by Ruben de Celis. He explains that he is sending the fragment along with another fragment found in a vein in the Atacama region of Peru.
