The papers are arranged alphabetically by author, with this volume containing papers written by authors whose names begin with letters D to K. Includes an index at the beginning of the volume. The papers are largely undated but the front matter indicates that they are all post-1800, although some papers seem to be from the late 18th century. Two papers were published in the form in which they appear in this volume: 'Intensitas vis magneticæ terrestris ad mensuram absolutam revocata' by Karl Friedrich Gauss; and 'Account of a comet' by William Herschel.
