<dc:title>Unpublished paper, 'Description of an observatory constructed at Ardwick [England]' by John Jerse</dc:title>
<dc:description>Jerse describes the construction of the observatory at Ardwick, which differs essentially from any others that he has seen, and 'answers the intended purpose perfectly'. Its moderate-sized telescope is 'mounted as an equitorial [sic] with right ascension'. The dome was erected by John Smeaton.
