<dc:title>Unpublished letter, regarding Charles Wildbore's paper from Wm [William Wales] to Sir Joseph Banks</dc:title>
<dc:description>Letter from Wales regarding Wildbore's paper on spherical motion (see AP/7/16), originally enclosed with the letter, stating that it was given to him by a Mr Gilpin. Wales states that he believes the paper was written by an 'ingenious' man, but that he was not sure he agreed with two or three points, but was unable to prove them wrong. He does not state which points these are.

An ink inscription verso reads 'Ld Stanhope? Astr Royal'.
