<dc:title>Mental Processes in the Human Brain Discussion Meeting</dc:title>
<dc:description>By Professor Jon Driver, Professor Patrick Haggard and Professor Tim Shallice FRS

Scientific study of the human mind and brain has come of age, with the advent of methods for imaging brain activity in health and disease, plus computational theories of cognition. These can address new questions about the neurobiological basis of cognitive processes that are characteristically (and perhaps uniquely) human, including language; thought; understanding of others; conscious memory; and awareness itself.
