3.   London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
     To appoint a representative on the Court of Governors for a pereiod of three years as from 1 January 1948.  Sir Henry Dale, the retiring Governor representing the Society, is eligible for reappointment.

4.   Items of Agenda drawn up in the form of Minutes which will become Minutes of Council unless any objection as to form or principle is raised at the meeting.

4.vi   Davy - Faraday Exhibiition
         Permission was given to the Royal Institution to include in its exhibits at the Davy-Faraday Exhibition in Paris during May and June 1948 the Michael Faraday volume of diplomas and a letter of July 1814 from Sir Humphry Davy to Henry Warburton, both in the possession of the Royal Society, subject to adequate provision for their safety during transit and to suitable insurance during their absence from the Society's apartments.
4.vii   Linnean Society Exhibition
          Permission was granted to the Linnaean Society to borrow for exhibition at its General Meeting on 26 February 1948 the Malpighi drawings, the J J Scheuchzer manuscripts and the Ricard Wallier plant paintings from the archives of the Royal Society.
4.viii Hopkins portrait
         Permission was granted to Walter Judd Limited to reproduce in an 'Anthology of British Medical Sciences' the Society's oil painting of Sir Frederick Gowland Hopkins by M. Frampton, subject to the usual acknowledgments being made upn publilcatin.
