His Aunt urges him to stay in Edinburgh if it is to his advantage. Their uncle thinks that Blagden is spending too much money. Their sister has returned from London. Wilkes is elected member for Middlesex and Lord Baltimore is acquitted for the supposed rape on Miss Woodcock. His Uncle and Aunt Blagden approve of Blagden's reasons for not visiting this summer. 2 April 1768
