Gives news of the social scene at Weymouth. Asks for information from Blagden about what the politicians think about the news from Boston, if the army have gained a victory there it is a dear one. Could not find out about Dr Leigh. Gives news of the Duchess of Portland and her Natural History collection - describes some of the specimens. Would like Blagden to send him news about American affairs. 2 August 1775
