<dc:title>Letter from Thomas Curtis, Belmont, Bath to Charles Blagden, Physician to the Army, Plymouth</dc:title>
<dc:description>Thanks Blagden for his application to Daines Barrington on his son's behalf. Hopes Blagden had a good journey to Plymouth. Sorry not to be able to meet Blagden at Stourhead. Will leave Bath for Gloucestershire next week. Asks how Herschel's comet is received by Sir Joseph Banks and Neville Maskelyne, "Herschel is very indefatigable in his pursuit after astronomical knowledge". Blagden's brother has benefitted from the Bath waters. Mrs Osborne has died. Gives news of Lord Mulgrave. Cousin Mary is very well.</dc:description>
